How does quick registration work?
The first step is to speak to a specialist recruitment advisor. We will call you when you apply for one of our jobs of if you have registered your interest on our website. Or just give us a call to have an initial conversation.
This initial conversation is your chance to find out more about being a supply teacher or support assistant at schools in cities and towns across East Anglia, like Ipswich, Chelmsford, Braintree, Colchester, Norwich or the many smaller local village schools.
If you are looking for work and like the sound of working with 4myschools, then simply complete your online registration.
The registration process with 4myschools is quick and painless putting you in control of what you share with us and when.
With just a little preparation you can ensure you have all the required documents required for safeguarding which we need to see at your first virtual online meeting. You will be asked by your consultant to provide:

Full copy of CV covering 10 years or back to compulsory education. Make sure you detail reasons for any gaps in employment i.e., raising children, travelling or career break.
Reference Details for at least the last two years, including your most recent school post.
Proof of Right to Work in the UK including any work permits or Visas.
Photographic Proof of Identity such as Passport or Photocard Driving Licence
2 forms of address ID e.g. utility bill, bank statement etc. dated within the last 3 months or a council tax bill/P60/P45 dated within 12 months.
A current Enhanced DBS for Child Workforce
Qualifications / QTS / Induction certificates including UK ENIC certificate if applicable.

4myschools Registration is easy, quick and paperless!
You will meet your local consultant via a secure online video link which we provide for you. We conduct an online interview to find out more about you and how we can help. The specialist consultant will sight your relevant documents and gain more information about your skills and preferences.
Once the online face-to-face interview has been completed and all the required original documents seen, the appropriate checks then commence. From this point onwards, our dedicated Compliance Team Member is responsible for getting you verified and ready to work in schools. They also keep you informed of what stage your clearance is at.
In our experience the greatest cause for delay is references. To reduce this delay, make sure you speak to each of your referees beforehand.
I need a new DBS; will this slow my registration?
Registering with the DBS update service significantly shortens delays in clearance – please ensure you register your DBS certificate.
If you know you need a new DBS getting this in progress as soon as possible minimises delays. We can get this organised very quickly, just let us know straight away.
Ensure your DBS is Child Workforce only. It is a common mistake to tick both Child and Adult workforce which can cause complications.
4myschools only work with schools and therefore we are not permitted to check the Adult Barred List.
I haven’t had any recent safeguarding training, does this matter?
It does matter – but we can help with our free online training. 4myschools offers all candidates the option to update their safeguarding training and gain valuable access to our extensive library of online CPD through our loyalty scheme.
How long does it take to get registered and start working?
Over 90% of our candidates are cleared with 7 days. Of course, we are always trying to improve, and we consistently receive good feedback.
Do we have to meet face-to-face? Can’t I do all this over the phone or video?
Currently due to Covid 19 we interview most of our candidates by video to confirm the identity of our temporary workers and enable us to have thorough interviews where we truly get to know you. The interview takes around 1 hour. By the end of this hour you should feel confident that your consultant knows exactly what you want and will be able to match you to appropriate schools
