1:1 LSA Jobs St Osyth. Are you passionate about supporting young learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to provide one-on-one support to a delightful Year 1 student in St. Osyth.
In this role, you will be working closely with a young boy in Year 1 who has ASD. He thrives on routine, but like many children with ASD, he may exhibit challenging behaviours when routines are disrupted. Additionally, he has been known to abscond from the room.
You will establish and maintain a structured and consistent routine to create a stable environment in which the student can flourish. Utilize your expertise in ASD and behaviour management to help the student navigate challenging behaviours and develop coping strategies. Work on transitioning the student into the classroom setting, providing a supportive and gradual introduction process.
Initially, you will be working with the student in a separate and dedicated room to ensure a comfortable and distraction-free environment. It is essential to have a deep understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and experience working with children on the spectrum. Your expertise in managing challenging behaviours will be invaluable in this role.
If you are passionate about making a significant impact in the life of a young learner with ASD, we encourage you to apply.
