Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of scientists? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a school for a September start. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

– Deliver engaging and comprehensive science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
– Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to cater to a diverse range of student abilities.
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for science.
– Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
– Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
– Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enhance the school community.

Requirements:

– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
– A degree in a science-related subject.
– Proven experience teaching science at the secondary level.
– Strong subject knowledge across biology, chemistry, and physics.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest educational practices.

Desirable Attributes:

– Experience with GCSE and/or A-level science curriculum
– Ability to inspire and motivate students with diverse learning needs.
– Creativity in lesson planning and resource development.
– A collaborative approach to working with colleagues and contributing to a positive school ethos.
