About the Role:
As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools, providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across different subjects, maintaining classroom discipline, and ensuring the continuation of students’ education in the absence of their regular teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
– Delivering high-quality lessons in accordance with the school’s curriculum and policies.
– Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment.
– Marking and assessing students’ work, providing constructive feedback.
– Adapting to different school environments and embracing new challenges.
– Building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
– Proven experience in teaching at the secondary level.
– Strong classroom management skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Adaptability and a proactive approach to teaching.
– Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
