Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and making a positive impact on their early years? Our esteemed client, a leading nursery in Bury St Edmunds, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join their dynamic team. This is a full-time position starting in September, offering an exciting opportunity to work in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

– Provide high-quality care and support for children with SEND, ensuring their physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs are met.
– Implement and adapt the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to meet the individual needs of children with SEND.
– Develop and maintain individualised EHCP’s for children with SEND.
– Work closely with parents, carers, and external professionals to support each child’s development and progress.
– Ensure the health and safety of all children, staff, and visitors at all times.
– Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of nursery policies and procedures.

Requirements:

– Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years Education (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3).
– Proven experience working with children with SEND within an early years setting.
– Strong understanding of the EYFS framework, child development, and SEND best practices.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative.
– Passionate about supporting children with SEND and committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
