We are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers for a variety of roles in Stowmarket, Suffolk, starting in September.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuity of education for pupils across different primary schools in Stowmarket. Your responsibilities will include:
– Delivering engaging and effective lessons across various subjects to primary-aged children.
– Adapting to different school environments and quickly integrating into new teams.
– Managing classroom behaviour and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
– Following lesson plans provided by the absent teacher or creating your own when necessary.
– Assessing students’ progress and providing feedback to the school’s regular teaching staff.
– Upholding the school’s policies and ethos, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
– Experience teaching in primary schools.
– Strong classroom management skills.
– Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– A passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
– Valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
