About the Role:
Are you a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher ready to inspire the next generation of geographers? Our client, a well-respected secondary school in Ipswich, is seeking an enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic department where your expertise and commitment will make a significant impact on students’ educational journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5.
– Develop students’ understanding and appreciation of the world, fostering critical thinking and analytical skills.
– Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
– Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning and student participation.
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices and resources.
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
– Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.
– Experience teaching Geography at the secondary level.
– Excellent communication and organisational skills.
– A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
