Key Responsibilities:

Support Learning: 📚 Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored educational programs for students with autism, under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO.
Individualized Attention: 🤝 Provide one-on-one and small group support to help students develop their academic, social, and communication skills.
Behavioural Support: 🛠️ Implement behaviour management strategies to help students engage positively in the classroom and school environment.
Inclusive Environment: 🌍 Promote an inclusive atmosphere that respects the individual needs of each student, encouraging participation and interaction.
Progress Monitoring: 📝 Track and report on student progress, collaborating with teachers and other professionals to adjust learning plans as needed.
Parental Engagement: 🏡 Work closely with parents and caregivers, maintaining open communication and supporting them in understanding and contributing to their child’s educational journey.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: 💼 Previous experience working with children with autism or other special educational needs is highly desirable.
Skills: 💬 Strong communication, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a genuine passion for helping children succeed are key.
Qualifications: 🎓 Relevant qualifications in education, special educational needs, or child development are preferred but not essential. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
Team Player: 🤗 Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff in a dynamic school environment.
