The school are looking to find the best SEN TA candidate who will be creative, flexible and committed to improving the life chances of children is invaluable to achieving these aims.

Responsibilities of the SEN TA:

Support students with special educational needs in their daily classroom activities.
Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitoring student progress.
Provide one-on-one and small group support to facilitate learning and development.
Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support student needs.
Assist with behavioural management and promote positive behaviour.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to regular reviews.

Requirements for the SEN TA:

Experienced in, or passionate about working with students with Autism and other SEND conditions
Knowledge of the early years curriculum and how to provide engaging environments and move learning on through engaging interactions with children.
Understanding of how to apply therapeutic interventions
Be flexible, proactive and patient
Nurturing in their approach and interventions
Able to communicate effectively within a team
