Year Four Teacher required for a Maternity Cover

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year Four Teacher to join our vibrant primary school in Welwyn Garden City Hertfordshire. This is a full-time maternity cover position, starting from October half term, with the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of 24 enthusiastic students. Key Responsibilities:

– Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum.

– Plan and prepare high-quality lessons to meet the needs of all Year Four learners.

– Mark and assess pupils’ work, providing constructive feedback.

– Manage classroom behaviour in a positive and effective way.

– Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.

– Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support student progress.

Requirements for Year Four Teacher:

– A qualified primary school teacher (QTS required).

– Strong organisational skills and the ability to plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons.

– Experience teaching Key Stage Two, ideally Year Four.

– A positive, nurturing attitude with a genuine passion for education.

– A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
