4myschools are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work at our Schools in Basildon, Essex

We have immediate opportunities for both temporary to permanent positions as well as daily supply roles, offering flexibility to suit your availability.
Key Responsibilities for SEND Teaching Assistant:
– Provide one-to-one and small group support to children with SEND, including those with autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties
– Work closely with the classroom teacher to ensure individual learning plans are implemented effectively
– Support the emotional, social, and educational development of pupils
– Assist with behaviour management and foster a positive learning environment
– Liaise with SENCOs and other support staff to provide tailored support to students
Requirements:
– Previous experience working with children with SEND as a SEND Teaching Assistant is highly desirable
– A compassionate, patient, and understanding approach to supporting students
– Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
– A flexible, adaptable, and positive attitude
– An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
