4myschools are looking for a Long-Term Geography Teacher in Braintree, Essex.
Are you a passionate and dedicated Long-Term Geography Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-respected secondary school in Braintree, Essex, for a full-time Geography Teacher to cover a maternity leave, starting in January 2025. This role is ideal for an experienced teacher or an early career teacher (ECT) looking to join a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.
The Role:
– Full-time Long-Term Geography Teacher delivering lessons to Key Stages 3 & 4 (experience with Key Stage 5 is desirable but not essential)
– Creating engaging, dynamic, and inclusive Geography lessons that inspire students
– Planning, marking, and actively contributing to the curriculum and extra-curricular activities
– Ensuring high standards of behaviour and student engagement in the classroom
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
– Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Geography
– Previous experience teaching Geography at the secondary level is advantageous
– Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and creative learning environment
