4myschools are looking for a Year 3 Learning Support Assistant for a School in Little Baddow.
Are you a passionate Learning Support Assistant looking for a rewarding full-time role? We are currently seeking a dedicated Year 3 Learning Support Assistant to work with a pupil who has ADHD at a warm, inclusive school located in the rural setting of Little Baddow.
Due to the school’s location, candidates must hold a full UK driver’s license and have access to their own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide 1:1 support for a child with ADHD, working closely with them to ensure their needs are met in a caring and structured way.
– Facilitate regular movement breaks and actively engage in physical activities, as these are integral to the child’s learning plan.
– Support the student in maintaining focus during classroom lessons.
– Be physically active – the school has many stairs, and movement between different sites may be required during the day.
What We’re Looking For:
– Previous experience working with children with ADHD or additional needs is preferred but not essential.
– Must be physically active and able to engage in games and activities during movement breaks.
– Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach to learning support.
– A valid UK driving license and reliable transport due to the rural location of the school.
– The ability to work as part of a team, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to deliver the best outcomes for the child.
