Daily Rate: £75-£90 per day
SEN LSA Felsted. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to support a child in Year 1 with ADHD in a primary school setting. This full-time role involves providing both academic and personal care support, ensuring the child’s comfort, safety, and ability to engage in classroom activities.
As the child has additional needs related to ADHD, you will play a key role in helping them manage their behaviour, stay focused, and participate in daily routines. Experience working with children who require personal care and support for behavioural challenges is highly desirable.

Responsibilities for SEN LSA Felsted:
Provide one-on-one or group support to students with special educational needs within the classroom setting.
Help students with their individual academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development.
Collaborate with the classroom teacher and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Support students with personal care needs, where necessary, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Monitor and record student progress, maintaining accurate records.
Requirements:
Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in an academic or similar care setting.
A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach, with the ability to establish rapport with students and gain their trust.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
A positive attitude, flexibility, and resilience in handling challenging situations.
Relevant qualifications/certificates (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools, Autism Awareness, Makaton, etc.) are desirable but not essential.
