4myschools are seeking an enthusiastic and committed SEN Supply Teacher to work in dynamic schools in Great Yarmouth and the surrounding areas in Norfolk. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive tailored instruction and support to thrive academically and socially. You will work closely with students, parents, and other professionals to create and implement effective individual education plans (IEPs). Key Responsibilities for the SEN Supply Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of students with SEN in line with any relevant EHCP (Educational Health Care Plan).
Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters independence and confidence.
Maintain detailed records of student progress and IEPs, providing updates to parents and the leadership team.
Promote positive behavior and social skills through tailored interventions and support.
Requirements for the SEN Supply Teacher:
A qualified teacher (QTS required).
Experience working with students with special educational needs.
Knowledge of SEN frameworks and relevant teaching strategies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, empathetic approach and a passion for inclusive education.
