4myschools are looking for a Part Time English Teacher to work at a school in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join our dynamic school in Welwyn Garden City. This is a part time role working 2 days a week (Thursday and Friday) with an immediate start until October Half Term with the potential of going fixed term thereafter. This role is ideal for a passionate educator looking to make an immediate impact in a supportive and thriving environment. You will be teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities for a Part Time English Teacher
- Deliver engaging English lessons to secondary school students.
- Plan and prepare high-quality lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Foster a love of literature and language among students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience.
Requirements:
- Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of the English curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
