This is an opportunity for a dynamic and inspiring colleague to join a vibrant Secondary School in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk on maternity cover, starting January 2025. The successful candidate will join a team of committed professionals, working within the mathematics department. Will be working within a Trust where staff development is prioritised and be supported by a strong leadership structure including a Head of Department and a Lead Practitioner, alongside colleagues who are keen to collaborate and develop. Suitable for ECTs.

Key Responsibilities for the Mathematics Teacher Job Great Yarmouth Norfolk:

Deliver engaging and effective lessons based on provided curriculum or lesson plans.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.
Provide necessary feedback, assessments, and reports as required.
Adapt to varying classroom dynamics and school settings.

Requirements for the Mathematics Teacher Job Great Yarmouth Norfolk:

Must hold a relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status.
Knowledge of the pedagogy associated with the subject.
Understanding of the social, emotional, and intellectual development of teenagers.
Experience working with different groups e.g., the most able, the disadvantaged and SEND.
Ability to teach to KS3 and KS4.
