Are you a passionate and dedicated Long Term Reception Teacher Colchester looking for your next opportunity? Our education recruitment agency is currently seeking an exceptional Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) teacher to join a supportive and dynamic primary school in Colchester. This is a fantastic long-term position starting in January 2024.
The Role:
As a Reception Teacher, you will be responsible for nurturing and developing the academic, social, and emotional skills of young learners. You’ll plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of your class, following the EYFS framework. Working closely with colleagues, you will ensure that each child receives the best start in their education journey.
Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver creative and effective lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
– Create a welcoming, safe, and stimulating learning environment
– Support children in their early stages of development, fostering curiosity and a love of learning
– Work collaboratively with the school’s staff, parents, and carers to support each child’s progress
– Carry out assessments and monitor the development of each child
– Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are adhered to at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will:
– Hold a UK-recognised teaching qualification (QTS) or equivalent
– Have experience teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ideally in a Reception class
– Be passionate about working with young children and supporting their individual needs
– Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Be dedicated, organised, and able to inspire and motivate young learners
– Have a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
