Our client, a welcoming and vibrant primary school in Maldon, Essex, is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 1 team. This role also involves Midday Assistant duties, providing both classroom support and supervision during lunch breaks.
About the Role:
As a TA with MDA responsibilities, you’ll be integral to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. You’ll assist the class teacher with learning activities, classroom organization, and supporting students on an individual and group basis to foster a positive educational experience. During lunchtime, you’ll supervise and support students, ensuring a safe and enjoyable break.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist the KS1 teacher with lesson preparation, classroom management, and individual and group support.
– Foster an inclusive, engaging learning environment that supports students’ social and academic development.
– Supervise children during lunch breaks, promoting positive behaviour and ensuring safety.
– Communicate effectively with students and staff to create a cohesive and positive atmosphere as a Teaching Assistant Job Maldon
Requirements:
– Previous experience in a TA or MDA role, particularly with KS1, is highly advantageous.
– A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them reach their potential.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills as a Teaching Assistant Job Maldon

– Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
