4myschools are looking for a Maths Teacher to work at a school in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.
4myschools are currently seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and skilled Maths Teacher to join our dedicated team from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about inspiring the next generation of mathematicians. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Maths to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will have the opportunity to engage students with a strong and diverse curriculum, fostering a love of mathematics while ensuring that each student reaches their full potential.
Key Responsibilities for a Maths Teacher
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to support students with varying abilities and learning styles.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
- Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum and department resources.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning across the school.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development activities.
Requirements
- Enhanced Child Only Workforce DBS (or willing to obtain one)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
- A strong passion for Maths and teaching.
- Experience in teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (preferred but not essential).
- The ability to inspire and motivate students, helping them to achieve their best.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong organisational skills and a commitment to professional growth
