Requirements:

As the ideal SEND Teacher you will need to:

  • Have QTS
  • Skills in adapting your approach to meet individual needs
  • Knowledge and experience of using a range of strategies to encourage, develop and manage behaviour
  • A holistic approach
  • Be flexible and reliable
  • Have an Enhanced, Child workforce, Disclosure, that is on the update service; or be willing to pay for one. (Please note: This is an essential document to work in schools)

Desirable but not essential requirements:

  • Previous experience of working with children, SEND or vulnerable people
