📍 Location: Southend On Sea
⏳ Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
💰 Salary: £25,992 per annum (Level 5, Point 8)
Are you an experienced Early Years Practitioner with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are seeking a Nursery SEND Coordinator to join a well-established nursery team in a thriving and inclusive school setting.
The Role:
As the Early Years SEND and Inclusion Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring that children with additional needs receive the support they require to thrive. Your responsibilities will include:
Working directly with children, staff, and families to develop and implement individual support plans.
Collaborating with parents and external professionals to provide tailored interventions.
Attending safeguarding and professional meetings as required.
Supporting the wider nursery team in delivering an inclusive, child-focused learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified to Level 3 in Early Years Education (SEND qualification desirable).
Experienced in working with children with additional needs.
Passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children and their families.
Confident in liaising with external agencies and professionals.
A great communicator and team player.
The school would also consider an experienced Level 3 practitioner willing to undertake relevant SEND training.
