4myschools are looking for a Secondary Early Career Teacher to work at schools in Norwich, Norfolk.
We are seeking a dynamic Secondary Early Career Teacher to join our team on a supply basis in Norwich, Norfolk. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher (NQT) or an early career professional who is looking to gain diverse teaching experience across a variety of schools.
About the Role:
- Provide high-quality teaching across a range of subjects and year groups in secondary schools.
- Deliver pre-planned lessons, ensuring that students remain engaged and supported throughout the lesson.
- Establish a positive classroom environment and maintain high standards of behaviour.
- Work with students of varying abilities and support their academic and personal development.
- Adapt to different teaching settings and school cultures, ensuring each student’s learning experience is productive and positive.
- Opportunities for both short-term (daily supply) and long-term teaching assignments, depending on your availability and preferences.
Responsibilities as a Secondary Early Career Teacher:
- Delivering lessons across various subjects, depending on your specialism.
- Maintaining strong classroom management and ensuring student engagement.
- Adapting lessons to suit the individual needs of students.
- Contributing to the wider school community and participating in school activities where appropriate.
- Providing feedback on student progress and supporting their development.
Requirements:
- A recently qualified teacher (ECT) or an early career teacher with a passion for education and supporting student growth.
- A relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with students and staff.
- A positive, adaptable attitude with the ability to quickly build rapport in new school environments.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain focus and discipline.
- A commitment to providing an excellent standard of education in every classroom you work in.
