4myschools are looking for a Media Teacher to work at a school in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire.
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Media Teacher to join our dedicated team at a vibrant school in Bishop’s Stortford. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and engage students in the world of media studies. The role is full-time, but we would consider part-time for the right candidate. This is a full time role with an immediate start for at least one term. Part time may be considered for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities for a Media Teacher
- Delivering high-quality Media Studies lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5 depending on experience)
- Inspiring students to engage with media theory, analysis, and production
- Assessing, monitoring, and providing constructive feedback on students’ progress
- Contributing to the development and enrichment of the Media curriculum
- Supporting students’ academic and personal development
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching and learning
Requirements:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
- Strong passion and knowledge of Media Studies
- Experience teaching Media Studies at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 experience desirable)
- A creative and enthusiastic educator who can inspire and motivate students
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Available to start ASAP and commit to at least 1 term (potential for longer-term opportunities)
