4myschools are looking for a HLTA to work at a Primary school in Attleborough, Norfolk.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team at a Primary School in Attleborough. This is a part-time, temporary position, offering 26 hours per week across 4 days, with a contract running until the end of the Summer Term 2026. The role is term-time plus 1 week, giving you the opportunity to support our primary school students during the school year while also having time for professional development.
As an HLTA, you will work closely with class teachers to provide support for students both in the classroom and outside of it, ensuring that all children have the best possible learning experience.
Key Responsibilities for a HLTA:
- Holds a relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Has experience working in a primary school setting, ideally as a teaching assistant or HLTA.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is confident in working with children across different age groups and abilities.
- Has a proactive approach to supporting learning and development.
- Is committed to providing high-quality support and ensuring the best outcomes for all students.
Requirements:
HLTA Position
- A recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A proactive, flexible, and adaptable approach to supporting students.
- A passion for supporting student learning and development.
- An Enhanced Childworkforce only DBS or willing to obtain one.
