4myschools are looking for a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 LSA (Learning Support Assistant) to start a job supporting schools across Bawburgh, Norfolk. Focusing on students with high SEND requirements, who need tailored support in their educational journey in a mainstream school. This is for January 2025, up to 5 days a week on daily supply with the potential for a temporary to permanent placement. Ideal for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on a child’s learning and development. Key Responsibilities of the 1:1 LSA Job Bawburgh:

Provide 1:1 support to a student with specific learning, behavioural, or emotional needs.
Assist the student with classwork, homework, and other academic tasks.
Foster the student’s independence by promoting their skills in areas such as literacy, numeracy, and social integration.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to implement learning strategies and monitor the student’s progress.
Help manage and support the student’s behaviour and emotional well-being throughout the school day.
Develop positive relationships with the student, helping to create a safe and encouraging learning environment.
Support the student in extracurricular activities as needed.
Attend meetings and training sessions as required to keep up-to-date with the student’s needs.

Requirements for the 1:1 LSA Job Bawburgh:

Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school or support setting.
Experience or a qualification in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) is preferred.
A positive, empathetic attitude with strong communication skills.
Ability to be patient, calm, and flexible when supporting students with diverse needs.
A good understanding of safeguarding practices and the welfare of children.
A commitment to working as part of a team and supporting the student to achieve their full potential.
