Job Description:
Our client is seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis starting in September 2024. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students across Key Stages 3 and 4, and contribute to the Geography department’s ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities:
– Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Geography lessons that meet national curriculum standards.
– Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
– Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
– Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
– A degree in Geography or a related field.
– Previous experience teaching Geography at the secondary level is desirable.
– Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student well-being and achievement.
– Excellent communication and organisational skills.
