Our education recruitment agency is seeking enthusiastic SEN Teachers for pre-booked supply roles starting in September.

About the Role:

As an SEN Teacher, you will be working with secondary age students with a range of special educational needs. Your primary responsibilities will include planning and delivering tailored lessons, assessing students’ progress, and fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in different schools and settings, while enjoying the flexibility of supply teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

– Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of SEN students
– Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
– Work collaboratively with support staff and other teachers to create a positive learning environment
– Implement EHCP’s and adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
– Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere

Requirements:

– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
– Experience working with secondary age students with special educational needs
– Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and effective teaching strategies
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings
– Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
