Are you a passionate and dedicated Humanities teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Humanities teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Bury St Edmunds. This full-time, 1-year contract role is set to commence in September, offering an exciting chance to make a significant impact on students’ educational journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
– Deliver engaging and effective Humanities lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
– Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm.
– Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
– Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and events.
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
– Proven experience teaching Humanities at KS3 and KS4 levels.
– Strong knowledge of the Humanities curriculum and assessment methods.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– A commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
– Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
