Our leading education recruitment agency is working with a welcoming primary school in Halstead that is looking for a passionate and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis.
Key Responsibilities:
– Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and leading small group work
– Covering classes when required, ensuring learning objectives are met
– Assisting in the planning and preparation of resources
– Monitoring student progress and providing feedback
– Promoting positive behaviour and supporting students’ social, emotional, and academic development
What We’re Looking For:
– Qualified HLTA status or relevant Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification
– Previous experience in a primary school setting (KS1/KS2 preferred)
– A passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
– Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a HLTA Job Halstead
– Ability to work collaboratively with the teaching team and independently when required
