Role Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Harlow. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to choose the days you work and gain experience in a variety of school settings. Responsibilities:
– Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons to students in Key Stages 1 and 2.
– Support individual and group learning activities, ensuring all students are included and engaged.
– Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
– Provide one-on-one support to students with additional needs, fostering an inclusive atmosphere.
– Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources.
– Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to support the educational development of all students.
Requirements:
– Previous experience working with children, preferably in a primary school setting.
– A passion for education and a commitment to supporting student learning.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and environments.
– An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
