Key Responsibilities:

– Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Food Technology lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
– Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
– Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Food Technology curriculum.
– Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures, particularly regarding health and safety in the kitchen.

Requirements:

– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
– Specialisation in Food Technology or a related subject.
– Proven experience teaching Food Technology at secondary school level.
– Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
– Excellent communication and organisational skills.
– Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
