Are you a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher looking for a part-time opportunity to inspire students and share your love for languages? Our esteemed client, a reputable secondary school in Ipswich, is seeking an enthusiastic MFL Teacher to join their dynamic team from September 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
– Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging MFL lessons to students, fostering a love for languages and cultural awareness.
– Teach French and/or Spanish to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a possibility of Key Stage 5.
– Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure academic success.
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
– Participate in school activities, parent evenings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialisation in Modern Foreign Languages.
– Proven experience teaching French and/or Spanish within a secondary school setting.
– Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
