We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to join our team for placements in Ipswich starting this September. Whether you are an experienced educator looking for flexible work or a recent graduate eager to gain classroom experience, we have the perfect role for you.
The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education in the absence of the regular class teacher. Your responsibilities will include:
– Supervising and managing classrooms, ensuring a positive learning environment.
– Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring students stay on task.
– Managing student behaviour in line with school policies.
– Providing support and assistance to students where needed.
– Working collaboratively with teaching staff and other Cover Supervisors.
Key Requirements:
– Experience working with children or young people is highly desirable.
– Strong classroom management skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
– A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
– A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
