About the Role:
Are you a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) with experience in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Our esteemed client, a thriving mainstream primary school in Lowestoft, is seeking an enthusiastic LSA to join their supportive team full-time from September.
In this role, you will:
– Provide tailored support to young learners in EYFS with SEND, ensuring their individual needs are met.
– Work closely with class teachers to implement and adapt lesson plans and activities to support inclusive learning.
– Foster a nurturing and stimulating environment, promoting the social, emotional, and educational development of each child.
– Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to create comprehensive support plans.
– Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and communicate effectively with the wider school team.
Key Requirements:
– Previous experience working as an LSA, particularly within EYFS and/or with SEND.
– A genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning and development.
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
– Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
– Relevant qualifications in childcare, education, or a related field (desirable but not essential).
