About the Role:
Are you a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity in St Albans, Hertfordshire? We are thrilled to be partnering with a reputable and welcoming primary school in this historic city, seeking an enthusiastic and experienced KS1 Teacher to join their vibrant team from September 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
– Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
– Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and social development of each child.
– Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
– Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the well-being and holistic development of all students.
– Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and continuous professional development opportunities.
About You:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience teaching KS1.
– A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
– Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
– A commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
