Are you a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher Job in Upminster looking for an exciting opportunity? We are currently seeking an experienced Year 5 teacher to join a friendly and vibrant school in Upminster on a maternity cover basis, starting in December 2024.
About the Role:
As a Year 5 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire young minds and help students reach their full potential. This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys working in a supportive and collaborative environment, with the opportunity to make a real impact during this pivotal stage of students’ learning journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
– Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
– Manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
– Assess and monitor pupils’ progress, providing regular feedback to parents and staff.
– Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support the wider school community.
– Engage with parents and guardians to ensure clear communication about student progress and wellbeing.
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
– Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (ideally Year 5).
– Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and assessment methods.
– Excellent communication and organisational skills.
– Passionate about making a difference in children’s lives.
