4myschools are looking for a KS1 Teacher to work at a school in Ware, Hertfordshire with a January 2025 start on a fixed term basis.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Fixed Term KS1 Teacher to join our welcoming and supportive primary school in Ware. This is a fixed-term position starting in January 2025, with the possibility for this to lead to a permanent role for the right candidate. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply, and we offer full support and mentoring to help you flourish in your teaching career.
Key Responsibilities for a Fixed Term KS1 Teacher:
– Teach a mixed class of Year 1 and Year 2 students, delivering engaging and creative lessons that meet the national curriculum.
– Plan and assess lessons to ensure high standards of progress and development for all pupils.
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and a love of learning.
– Work closely with colleagues to support the school’s values and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
– Provide individualised support for students of varying abilities, ensuring each child is able to succeed.
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
– Strong understanding of Key Stage 1 curriculum and child development.
– Excellent communication and organisational skills.
– A passion for nurturing young learners and creating a positive impact on their education.
– ECTs are welcome to apply and will receive full support through mentoring and training.
