4myschools are looking for a Computer Science Teacher to work at a school in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Computer Science Teacher to join our forward-thinking secondary school in Bishop’s Stortford. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to teach Computer Science across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 in a supportive and dynamic learning environment. This will be a September 2025 start on a full time basis.
Key Responsibilities for a Computer Science Teacher:
– Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons, covering topics from foundational principles to advanced programming.
– Inspire students to develop their digital literacy and computational thinking skills, fostering a love for technology and problem-solving.
– Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and guidance to ensure every student reaches their potential.
– Contribute to the development of the Computer Science curriculum and participate in extracurricular activities such as coding clubs or competitions.
– Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the department and the school.
Requirements:
-Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
– Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science, with the ability to teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and ideally Key Stage 5.
– Experience in teaching programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) and an understanding of current developments in digital technologies.
– Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
– A passion for technology and education, with a commitment to student success.
