Cover Supervisor Job Norwich
4myschools have a vacancy for a Secondary School Cover Supervisor Job in Norwich Norfolk to provide general cover in a number of schools throughout the area. In this role you will supervise pupils carrying out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff are on short-term absence. This post’s main task is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain productive with the work they have been set.
Key Responsibilities for the Cover Supervisor Job Norwich:
Secondary Cover Supervisors to provide general cover in a number of schools throughout the area.
You will supervise pupils carrying out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff are on short-term absence.
The cover supervisor’s main job is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set.
This is on a daily supply basis, working from 1 day a week, up to 5 days a week depending on your availability.
The schools range from small schools through to larger than average schools.
Requirements for the Cover Supervisor Job Norwich:
Hold experience working with children as a Cover Supervisor or in another capacity
Interested in either a full time or part-time positions or ad-hoc supply days
Confident covering secondary school key stages in a supervisory capacity
Interested in volunteering as a Cover Supervisor, shadowing other staff members in schools to gain experience.
