4myschools are looking for a Supply Design Technology Teacher of Design & Technology / Food Preparation to work at a college in Wymondham, Norfolk.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Design and Technology / Food Preparation and Nutrition to join our vibrant College in Wymondham. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students in both design and technology as well as food preparation and nutrition. The role is part-time (3 days per week, 0.54 FTE), offering a perfect work-life balance.
Responsibilities as a Teacher of Design & Technology / Food Preparation & Nutrition :
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Design and Technology and Food Preparation and Nutrition across key stages.
- Plan and assess student progress, providing feedback to help students achieve their full potential.
- Support the development of practical skills and theoretical knowledge in both subjects.
- Participate in the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and school events.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated to learn.
Requirements:
- Has a relevant teaching qualification and experience in teaching Design and Technology and/or Food Preparation and Nutrition.
- Holds a passion for the subjects and can inspire students to achieve their best.
- Is proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic about working in a collaborative team environment.
- Has a strong commitment to student development and academic excellence.
- Possesses excellent communication and organizational skills.
