Join an institution on an Engineering Teacher Job in Norwich. Specialising in engineering and catering to 14-19 age students with interests in Science, Computing and Mathematics. Looking for an Engineering teacher to deliver Engineering and Practical Engineering Skills to KS4-KS5 students. Engineering is taught in classrooms or bespoke Engineering workshops and rooms in the school’s amazing Engineering facilities. Engineering sits in its own Faculty due to the specialist nature of the school, with all of our KS4 students taking Engineering as a Core subject and the vast majority of our KS5 students taking either T Level Engineering, T Level Foundation Engineering or Single Engineering as a Level 3 qualification alongside A Levels. The department is the largest in the school and has a wide range of specialist teachers teaching across the full range of qualifications. Working 3-4 days a week – Monday and Tuesday compulsory, plus Wednesday or/and Thursday.

Key Responsibilities for the Engineering Teacher Job Norwich:

Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum.

Preparing and implementing a full educational teaching plan according to the school’s requirements and learners needs.

Mark and assess pupils’ work, providing constructive feedback.

Maintain classroom behavior in a positive and effective way.

Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.

Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support student progress when needed.

Requirements for the Engineering Teacher Job Norwich:

Ability to teach Engineering lessons at KS4&5.

Capacity for hard work.

Flexibility to teach classes split with other members of faculty.

QTS required.
