Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
Experience the wider role of a teacher in the personal development of pupils, including the main responsibilities of a form tutor.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, creating a supportive atmosphere that encourages student participation, critical thinking
Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
Participate in school meetings, professional development, and other activities.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
Requirements:
A relevant degree (Education, English and/or related fields)
Qualified Teacher Status (trainees need to be close to achieving QTS before starting this role).
Experience teaching the subject in a secondary school across KS 3 through 4.
Knowledge of the statutory requirements regarding Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety, SEND and Child Protection.
