Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated French teacher looking for a rewarding teaching opportunity? We are seeking a passionate French teacher to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach students up to GCSE level in a dynamic and supportive environment. This is a fantastic chance to work in a vibrant and supportive environment, with the role running from January 2025 until July 2025.
Key Responsibilities for a French Teacher:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality French lessons for Key Stage 3 and GCSE students
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment to encourage students’ progress
- Support and inspire students to achieve their best in both written and spoken French
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the French curriculum
- Track and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students improve
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support students’ overall academic and personal development
Requirements:
- A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in French or a related subject
- Experience teaching French up to GCSE level (essential)
- Passion for languages and the ability to inspire students
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to high educational standards
- Ability to work well within a team and contribute to a positive school culture
- Previous experience teaching in a secondary school setting (preferred but not essential)
