We are seeking a passionate and dedicated General Cover Supply Teacher to join our team at a school in Litcham, Norfolk. This is a fantastic opportunity for a versatile and enthusiastic educator who is looking for a flexible role within a supportive and dynamic school environment. As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality cover across various subjects and year groups, ensuring that students continue to receive the best possible education in the absence of their regular teacher.
Responsibilities as a General Cover Supply Teacher:
- Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects and age groups.
- Follow lesson plans provided by the school to ensure continuity of learning.
- Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment.
- Support the school’s ethos and uphold its values.
- Provide feedback to the regular class teacher regarding student progress and any issues that arise during lessons.
- Contribute to the overall academic development of students.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience of teaching in a school environment is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- A flexible, proactive, and adaptable approach.
- An up-to-date DBS check (or the willingness to apply for one).
