Higher Level Teaching Assistant Norwich Norfolk
4myschools have a vacancy for a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in Norwich starting in January 2025! You will be delivering planned lessons, supporting classroom activities, and ensuring a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher. You will work closely with children, providing encouragement to help them achieve their best. This role is part time 3 days per week, term time only!
Responsibilities of the HLTA :
Deliver planned lessons and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Support and engage students in their learning and development.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
Provide feedback and report on students’ progress to the school leadership.
Requirements of the HLTA:
Higher-Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
Previous experience in a similar role.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different teaching styles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and build rapport with students.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A valid enhanced DBS check or willingness to undertake one.
