4myschools are looking for a HLTA to work at a Primary school in Thetford Norfolk.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team at a primary school in Thetford. This is a part time, fixed-term position required as soon as possible, with the contract running until 31st July 2025. The role offers 32.5 hours per week, working term time plus 1 week (39 weeks in total), providing vital support to teachers and students in the classroom.
As an HLTA, you will play an integral role in supporting the learning and development of students across the primary school, delivering high-quality teaching and helping create an inclusive and nurturing environment for all children.
Key Responsibilities for a HLTA:
- Holds a relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Has experience working in a primary school setting, ideally as a teaching assistant or HLTA.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is confident in working with children across different age groups and abilities.
- Has a proactive approach to supporting learning and development.
- Is committed to providing high-quality support and ensuring the best outcomes for all students.
Requirements:
HLTA Position
- A recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A proactive, flexible, and adaptable approach to supporting students.
- A passion for supporting student learning and development.
- An Enhanced Childworkforce only DBS or willing to obtain one.
