4myschools are looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant Nursery School in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire.
Are you passionate about early years education and looking for a rewarding role? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work at a nursery school in Potters Bar from January 2025.
About the Role:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant at our nursery, you will play a key role in supporting the development and learning of young children. You will work closely with the nursery teachers to deliver high-quality education, fostering an environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and thrive. Your responsibilities will include assisting with classroom activities, promoting positive behaviour, helping with play-based learning, and providing one-to-one support for children as needed.
Responsibilities as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.
- Support children with individual learning needs and ensure their well-being.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage social, emotional, and physical development through play and structured activities.
- Support with assessments and help track children’s progress.
- Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and children.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Experience working with young children, ideally within a nursery or early years setting.
- A positive, nurturing attitude and a passion for working with children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Enhanced Child workforce only DBS or willing to obtain one.
