4myschools are seeking a passionate and dedicated LSA (Learning Support Assistant) to join a vibrant school In Norwich, Norfolk today! As a LSA with a specialist focus on speech and language therapy your primary objective will be to provide life-changing treatment, supporting and caring for children who have difficulties with communication, eating, drinking and swallowing. Including the following, mild/moderate or severe learning difficulties, specific difficulties in producing sounds, hearing impairment, cleft lip and palate, stammering, voice disorders, selective mutism and developmental language disorder. You’ll help children who, for physical or psychological reasons, have problems speaking and communicating. While always facilitating classroom activities and contributing to creating an overall positive and productive learning environment. Join our team at 4myschools and make a difference!

Responsibilities of the LSA Norwich, Norfolk:

Assess and evaluate students’ speech and language needs
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with teachers and parents.
Provide direct support to students during sessions and in the classroom.
Train and support staff in implementing communication strategies and interventions.
Monitor and track student progress, adjusting plans as necessary.
Foster a supportive and encouraging environment to help students build confidence in their communication skills.

Requirements for the LSA Norwich, Norfolk:

Relevant degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent.
Experience working with children in an educational or clinical setting is preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Motivational and reassuring attitude while assisting children on their journey’s.
Ability to problem solve and display a developed level of leadership and organisational skills.
A patient and empathetic approach to working with students.
