4myschools are looking for a Maths Teacher to work at a school in Norwich, Norfolk.
We are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Maths Teacher to work at an excellent Secondary School in Norwich. This is a full time role starting after Easter for the Summer Term.
Role Overview:
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality maths lessons to students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will step into classrooms to provide continuity of learning, ensuring that students remain engaged and on track with their studies.
Key Responsibilities for a Maths Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and effective maths lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Follow the school’s curriculum and ensure that learning objectives are met during your supply period.
- Manage classroom behavior in line with the school’s policies, creating a positive learning environment.
- Support students’ individual learning needs and provide constructive feedback on their progress.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of learning.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and ensure students are supported effectively.
- Uphold the school’s safeguarding and health and safety policies.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A flexible and proactive approach to teaching in a supply setting.
- A passion for mathematics education and a commitment to student success.
